ERCOT solar is sitting at 7% penetration as of the first half of 2023. This is on the brink of a level of penetration that has been an "inflection point" for other resources and ISOs, past which the capture ratio starts to degrade quickly, but the solar capture ratio behavior in ERCOT is complex.
