In our most recent article, the latest installment of our annual "Renewable Awards", the Southwest Power Pool ended up taking home quite a bit of hardware. We gave three awards out in this market and all of them positive superlatives. SPP Wind took home the prize for “Largest Market Share”, and SPP South Solar received dual award for “Most Valuable Gen Weighted LMP” and “Best Capture Ratio”. In today’s article, we will dive deeper into this market and tease apart what it takes to win.
