Andrew has worked in the energy industry since the mid 90s. With a MS in Environmental Management and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1995) and BS in Resource Economics from the University of Vermont (1989), Andrew has a solid grounding of market fundamentals, witnessing firsthand the deregulation of wholesale and retail sides of the power industry alongside the emergence of renewable and clean energy technologies.
He’s worked in private sector financial analysis of emerging green energy tech, government policy, licensing and permitting of energy facilities deployed in the coastal zone of New York and providing energy and environmental analysis, including resiliency and reliability, of fossil fuels and electric power industry on behalf of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
At Energy GPS, Andrew helps clients by creating bespoke cash flow models as well as conducting risk analysis of proposed PPAs and offtake contract structures. Andrew’s passionate about identifying unseen patterns in data and distilling complex questions into manageable criteria for making capital deployment decisions.
