Joe Nogosek is an Associate at Energy GPS having worked in the energy industry since 2021. He holds both a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. His technical background provides him with a deep understanding of grid operations, programming, and data analysis – an invaluable combination for energy market analysis. Before joining Energy GPS in 2024, Joe worked as an electrical engineer at a consulting firm, where he focused on developing and managing distributed energy resource programs for utilities across the country.

Joe thrives on uncovering insights within complex datasets, ensuring information is organized and presented clearly. He values efficiency, timeliness, and structured problem-solving – traits that align perfectly with his engineering mindset. Outside of work, he is an avid aviator with a private pilot’s license and a passion for the outdoors. Each summer, he embarks on a weeklong biking trip, embracing the challenge and adventure of the open road.
